Voting: Branch Pub & Club of the Year 2020

2019 Pub of the Year: The Ship Isis

Copy of email sent to all branch members from Michael Wynne our branch chair:

Dear Branch Member.

This email is to inform you that the online voting website for the 2020 Branch Pub of the Year (PotY) & Branch Club of the Year (CotY) is now open.

The site will remain open until midnight on the 1st February 2020.

In order to vote please go to our special voting website at:

To logon to the site you will need the same username & password details used to logon to all CAMRA national websites. (The username is your CAMRA membership number & the password one you previously setup.) If you have forgotten or lost these details they can be rest by going to

The list of pubs eligible for our PotY in 2020 are the 22 pubs the branch entered into the CAMRA Good Beer Guide (2020).

The list of clubs eligible for CotY 2020 are the 8 clubs in the branch area that serve Real Ale.

In order to vote you must choose at least one pub. You can vote for upto 3 pubs & 3 clubs.

Your first choice pub/club will be awarded 5 points, second choice 3 points & third choice 1 point.

The pub & club with the most points will be awarded the title of branch PotY/Coty 2020.

The voting site allows you to pick your favourites & review your choice before voting. However once you have voted you won’t be able to change your mind.

This vote is always very close & last year the top 5 pubs were only separated by a handful of points so two or three more members voting could have changed the results drastically. Thus I encourage you to vote…you can make a difference & your favourite pub/club is counting on you to help them win this award. (Last year’s top 12)
