Regional Cider Co-ordinator Bill Wilkinson announced the results of CAMRA North East’s “Cider Pub of the Year 2022” competion at todays NE regional meeting, held in the Steamboat, South Shields:<\/h3>\n

Winner: Blue’s Micro Pub, Whitburn<\/a> (The “South Tyneside” winner, entered by Sunderland & South Tyneside CAMRA)<\/h4>\n

Runner-Up: Station House, Durham<\/a> (The “Durham City” winner, entered by Durham CAMRA)<\/h4>\n

Third: Owa the Road, Swalwell<\/a> (The “Tyneside” winner, entered by Tyneside & Northumberland CAMRA)<\/h4>\n

Blue’s Micro Pub<\/strong> goes forward\u00a0 as the North East Regional Winner 2022<\/strong> into the “last sixteen” pubs in CAMRA’s hunt to find the “National Cider Pub of the Year 2022″<\/strong>. A huge congratulation from everyone in Sunderland & South Tyneside CAMRA & GOOD LUCK<\/strong><\/em> in the next stage “The Super Regional” round which whittles the final sixteen down to a final four!<\/p>\n
